The first face you see upon entering McCreas office, Elaine provides the warmest welcome to all our clients and staff alike, with her fantastic charm and bright persona. Elaine joined McCreas in 2005 and has over 10 years’ experience within the Financial Services sector. Starting life with the company as an Audio Typist, Elaine now takes on a more administrative role, supporting the Administration team, Advisors, and Managing Director, Douglas McCrea.
Life before McCreas
I became a member of the team at McCreas in March 2005, when returning to work on a part-time basis after my daughter was born. This was my first ever job working in the Financial Services Industry. Before starting at McCreas, I was an Audio typist for Waterman Rennick, for around 10 years.
Out of the office
Out of the office, I enjoy spending time with family, taking long walks with my dog, and socialising with friends. The numerous opportunities that McCreas provide for socialising throughout the year, suits me perfectly and I have particularly fond memories of our staff trip abroad to Berlin a few years ago, organised by our Managing Director, Douglas McCrea.
Favourite thing about working for McCreas
I love the fact that every day is different; fundamentally I carry out the same tasks, however the nature of being at reception means that I am always interacting with new people, including general members of the public, clients and my colleagues – I’m right in the thick of it, and this is one of the aspects of my job I like most!
