Day to Day Life at McCrea

Working as an adviser for McCrea always keeps me on my toes. No two clients' needs are the same and we have a lot of variety in the type of financial planning and advice that we offer. On top of this I get to work alongside a great team made up of talented individuals. 

Life Before McCrea

I entered the Financial Advice industry just a few days after graduating from Glasgow University where I studied Economics. After spending a number of years working as an advisor for a large corporate, I felt I wanted the challenge of working at an independent firm which is what led me to McCrea.

Out of the Office

Music is a big passion of mine so you’re likely to find me at concerts and festivals. I have a 1950s Hoffner Senator guitar that I’m ashamed to say has been gathering dust in my attic for a few years. When I’m not listening to Music I’m likely to be found pottering about the southside of Glasgow with my girlfriend and our dog. 

Favourite Thing About Working for McCrea

McCrea has been a breath of fresh air for me as an advisor. Here we have a team of dedicated Advisers, Paraplanners and Administrators all working towards the same goal of delivering great outcomes for our clients. 

Fun Fact

I’m perhaps stretching the definition of “fun” here but I speak a little Spanish and I absolutely love going to Barcelona.
