Reflecting on the achievement following a month where the Warriors completed a hat-trick of home victories on their return to Scotstoun, defeating Cardiff Blues, Leinster and Ulster, Leone said: “Winning this award is a great honour for me as I enjoy my relationship with the fans. Leone Nakarawa

“We started the season slowly but we’ve really picked up our level of performance and are now in the top four.”

Leone said: “We’ve been improving a lot in our games and I’m really excited about the run-in, especially with the way we’re playing at the moment.

“We’ve got two huge games left.  We want to stay in the top four and get a home play-off.

“There are only a few points separating the teams at the top and it’s a huge challenge for the boys to keep on improving and be consistent week by week in the lead up to hopefully a play-off and Final.”
