McCrea Financial Services were delighted to hold their third charity wine tasting evening, this year held at the prestigious Blythswood Square Hotel in Glasgow.

With a mix of guests including sporting representatives from our partnerships with Partick Thistle and Glasgow Warriors, we were particularly delighted to welcome our special guest for the evening, Wheelchair Tennis Australian Open, Wimbledon and Rio Paralympic Champion 2016, Gordon Reid.

As well as bringing along his medals for everyone to see, posing for pictures with our guests and generally representing McCreas as one of our Ambassadors, Gordon, together with his friend and agent Paul Regan also took part in a Question and Answer session.  Our guests in the room were able to ask questions and find out a little more about what goes on for Gordon with his day to day training, travelling and competing around the world.

The focus for the evening was to raise money for our two nominated charities, Beatson Cancer Charity and Venture Trust.  With a combination of our heads and tails supported by Finn Russell and Alex Dunbar helping with the raffle along with our silent auction with a number of fantastic prize contributions from Just Employment Law, The Blythswood Square Spa, Partick Thistle, the Radisson Hotel Group and the SSE Hydro, we were delighted to raise thousands of pounds for these two fantastic charities.   

Our thanks go to all those who bought tickets and attended on the night to support our efforts.  It is thanks to our clients, colleagues and friends that we are able to raise money for so many important charities.
