Film Crew at Scotstoun this Friday Night for Your Team of the Decade Vote

Tell us who you'd have in your team and why!

To mark the ten-year anniversary of our partnership with Glasgow Warriors, we are looking for your Team of the Decade with Warriors past and present joining seasoned observers of Glasgow Warriors to select their team choice.

Most importantly we want Glasgow Warriors supporters to vote for their Warriors Team of the Decade and will be opening up the channels for you to nominate your team soon.

To kick it all off, we'll have a film crew at Scotstoun this Friday night for the Connacht game and will be asking you to tell us who your favourite player is from the last ten years is and why.  They will be spotted roaming trackside near the main entrance points and will also be in the clubhouse between 6.30pm and 7pm. Please do look out for them and have your say!

Near the beginning of the season, we  got Douglas McCrea, British and Irish Lion Stuart Hogg and journalist Hugh MacDonald join former Warriors captain Al Kellock to trade anecdotes and look back on a decade’s worth of association with the club.  You can watch the highlights of what they had to say here on Warriors HQ

The past ten years has been (a largely) fantastic period which has seen the Warriors grow into one of Europe’s top clubs and we want to celebrate this with your choice of the top team during that time!

Supporters who vote will be entered into a prize draw for hospitality at a home game, as well as Warriors signed shirts, rugby balls and tickets.

Glasgow Warriors Managing Director, Nathan Bombrys, said: “McCrea Financial Services are long standing sponsors of the club and their support has helped the club grow over the last 10 years.

“It’s great that they have chosen to continue their association with the club over this time and it’ll be fascinating to see who our supporters vote into our Team of the Decade.”

McCrea Financial Services, Managing Director, Douglas McCrea added: “Our first home game as sponsors was against Connacht at Firhill, which was a 16-15 win in front of 1,226 supporters. Now Glasgow Warriors are getting over 7,000 supporters to every home game.

“To think after 10 years we have now won the league as well as winning in every away ground in the PRO12, with a few brilliant wins in France against Montpellier, Toulouse and Racing 92, how times have changed.

“It’s great to have been part of the journey and I'm are looking forward to seeing how closely the supporters votes correlate with my own"!
