Three players have been nominated for the McCrea Financial Services Warrior of the Month.

Glasgow have played just two games during the month of November losing to Scarlets and Ospreys.

In the absence of a host of internationals, the depleted Warriors squad showed huge amounts of effort and tenacity against two of the competition’s leading sides with promising performances to be taken despite the results.

Nick Grigg

Nick Grigg’s fine form this season was awarded with an invitation to train with Scotland during the Autumn Internationals. His speed in attack and effectiveness in the tackle have impressed the Warriors fans during his five apperances so far this term and he displayed both coming off the bench against the Scarlets and starting against the Ospreys.

Peter Murchie

With so many international players missing in November, Peter Murchie used his wealth of experience to lead by example. Starting both games at full-back, Murchie carried well and was strong in defence and his leadership was instrumental in encouraging a young Warriors side to carry on fighting against the Ospreys, resulting in a late try.

Lewis Wynne

Still a member of the BT Sport Scottish Rugby Academy, Lewis Wynne has missed just one game for the Glasgow Warriors this season and has displayed his versitility by playing in all three positions in the back row. Against Scarlets Wynne carried the ball into contact more times than any Warriors player and against the Ospreys he made the most amount of tackles and hit the most amount of rucks too.
