Day to Day Life at McCrea
Lee-Anne is the first person you meet upon entering the McCrea office, welcoming our staff and clients with her warm smile and friendly disposition. She is responsible for client hospitality, general administrative task, maintaining the general upkeep of the premises, monitoring office supplies inventory and placing orders, assisting with team social events and supporting the overall function of the office environment.
Life Before McCrea
I previously worked in a Global Law Firm in London for nearly 20 years working in Client Services which involved the day to day running of the Reception Area, Conference/Meeting Rooms, Events, Catering and Switchboard. During the difficult times of the pandemic, myself and my family made the decision to move back to Scotland, and it's great to be back home!
Favourite Thing About Working for McCrea
My favourite thing about McCrea is the team. Not coming from a financial background they have been very patient
and supportive with me while I settled into my new role, allowing me to develop my skills and allowing me to make the role my own. It is very much a social team and I enjoy the social activities outside of work. I enjoy that the role is varied – one minute I am welcoming & interacting with clients in reception and offering hospitality then the next minute I am involved with administrative tasks, assisting and supporting the financial advisers and support staff.
Out of the Office
I love to spend my spare time with family and friends. My weekends involves me travelling my daughter around to her football matches around Ayrshire & Dumfries and Galloway. I enjoy trying something new whether it’s a new restaurant, activity, town, city or country. I love music, so you will always find myself and my husband going to a gig!
I shook hands with Idris Elba and made him a coffee after his big night out DJ’ing.
